- One thing to consider is whether the comics are an official part of the KND universe. A lot of times, books, magazines and comic books are released but the people that make the TV show aren't involved with writing them, so you wind up with contradictions to what is seen in the episodes.
- If you look at the Star Trek books, as the story goes, a fan asked Gene Roddenberry at a convention when they would see Lt. Piper in a movie. Piper was in one of the first Trek novels. His reply was that he didn't know who that character was. The general consensus then became that the books weren't an official part of the Trek universe, including the novelization of the first movie which Roddenberry helped write. I think this has changed with the books that have been released in the past few years.
- On the other hand, there were only a few Babylon 5 novels and comic books, and each one was developed from an outline provided by J. Michael Straczynski. Wikipedia has a list of what the canon status of each one is. If I remember right, the introduction for To Dream in the City of Sorrows says something along the lines of "this is an official episode, we just didn't film it".
- Those are the two extremes of how things are determined to be canon. It will be up to the members of this wiki to decide how strict they want to be. Do they want anything with a KND logo on it to be accepted as part of the KND universe? Name?[]
Uh, sorry, but shouldn't the name of the article be changed? On the official KND trading cards, his name is spelled as "Toilenator", without the additional "t" in it...I would think that would be the recognized spelling of it, given that it does appear on the trading card spelled that way...although, now that I think about it, if I remember correctly, his name does have the second "t" in it in the videogame, so I don't know, just thought I should bring it up for consideration, if it's noteworthy at all... :/
