Season 1 of Codename: Kids Next Door officially premiered on December 6, 2002 on Cartoon Network in the United States. The last episode of the season premiered on March 7, 2003.
Season 1 has thirteen episodes. These all consist of two eleven-minute episodes, excluding the pilot, which consisted of three seven-minute episodes and the season finale, which was a twenty-two minute long episode.
The first season focuses mainly on the exploits of Sector V. The global KND are explored more in-depth in seasons two through six.
