Principal Smelling is Principal Sauerbraten's boss.
History[]
In Operation: R.E.C.E.S.S., he is the main antagonist. When salad dressing was discovered in the playground of Gallagher Elementary School, he ordered Principal Sauerbraten to have it mined so that he could know what he was talking about to the other principals at a banquet later that night. When one of Lizzie's boogers landed in one of the salad dishes, one of the assembled principals discovered this and all the principals left. Thus, Principal Smelling's plan failed and he took his anger out on Principal Sauerbraten. Since the Ice Cream Men serve him as his minions, it is speculated that he may be close friends with Father.

- Principal Smelling is a parody of General Burkhalter from the 1960s comedy show, Hogan's Heroes.
- He was voiced by the late Joe Alaskey, the 1st and original voice for Plucky Duck and other characters on Tiny Toon Adventures and the second voice of Grandpa Lou Pickles on Rugrats and All Grown Up!.
