Summary[]
The KND are dismayed to discover that Grandma Stuffum is the new cafeteria lunch lady and she's got some pretty nasty recipes to foist on her pint-sized nemeses.
Plot[]
One day at school, Numbuh 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 were walking through the hallway to the cafeteria to have lunch. Numbuh 4 was growing sick and tired of the same old food every day. But Numbuh 2 didn’t seem to mind. The KND grimly enter the cafeteria, Numbuh 1 insisting that the sooner they get it over with, the better. Rock music begins as Sector V entered to get their food, and ominous visions of Gramma Stuffum's food soldiers beating drums appear. As Sector V got some of the food, the food really looked revolting much to Numbuh 1, 3, 4, 5, and even Numbuh 2’s dismay and the rock music was making them nervous since it meant that trouble was brewing. Sector V ran off as fast as their legs could carry them. As they ran off into the room, living food surrounded them. Then Gramma Stuffum herself appears, as her legions of food try to overpower Sector V and she sung a song. Sector V repeatedly destroys her creations while being forced to ingest them (except for Numbuh 2, who eats a bunch of them easily). They then focus their attention on Grandma Stuffum repeatedly blasting her, finally pushing her back into the kitchen. They think that they have won until the remnants of her army all stand and sing/shout ominously "Slamwitch! Slamwitch! Slamwitch!". Numbuh 1 suggests, nervously, that they go out to eat, and they reach the outside just as a giant, monstrous sandwich bursts through the school roof with Grandma Stuffum, who is wearing a witch's hat, atop its head (hence the term 'witch' as a part of the beast's name).
Fleeing to the Tree House, Numbuh 2 calls Joaquin the Hamster, who puts himself into the device from "Operation: K.I.S.S.". Meanwhile, Sector V attempt to stop the monstrous creature with their weapons, but they don't even phase it and they are devoured by the creature. Grandma Stuffum thinks she has won but Joaquin bursts from the Tree House, now massive in size with a bodybuilder physique, and fights the Slamwitch. He wrestles with the Slamwitch until Grandma Stuffum hurls candied lizard in his face. Just as Slamwitch is about to finish him off he is electrocuted by the KND, who are firing their weapons from within its stomach. Joaquin strikes it and forces it to spew the KND up and Stuffum is knocked off its head, after which Joaquin devours the Slamwtich while the KND cheer. The music ends, the KND return to the still destroyed school. Gramma Stuffum pleasantly promises them "Scream" of Spinach tomorrow, to which Numbuh 4 throws a chicken leg at her, and shouts "Get a new cookbook, lady!" And Liver and Onions laughed themselves silly.

Trivia[]
- This is the fourth "art" episode of Codename: Kids Next Door; the previous ones are: Operation: T.H.E.-F.L.Y. (Season 1), Operation: R.E.P.O.R.T. (Season 2), and Operation: A.R.C.H.I.V.E. (Season 3); and the next ones being: Operation: L.O.V.E. (Season 4) and Operation: S.C.I.E.N.C.E. (Season 6).[1]
- The band GWAR provided the music for this episode under the name RAWG (which is the name of a somewhat "side-project" featuring the same members out of costume, and they would actually open for themselves on some tours). The episode featured retrofitted versions of the songs "The Private Pain of Techno Destructo" (Kids Must Eat) and "Gor-Gor" (Slam Witch).
- The members of GWAR were going to give the producers copies of the original music tracks to both songs, but couldn't find them. Instead, they re-recorded both songs instrumentally in a studio. Since there have been line-up changes (the original lead guitarist (from "Private Pain") and two bassists (a different one for each song) have left the group at different points), there are many differences between the original songs and the songs featured in this episode.[2]
- Grey DeLisle, the voice of Gramma Stuffum had her own rock music career
- This episode, along with Operation: C.L.U.E.S., is a Thanksgiving-themed episode, which aired the day after Thanksgiving on November 26, 2004.
- Gallaghar Elementary was heavily damaged by the Slamwitch, and this is never referenced again.
- This is the second time Gramma Stuffum fights against the Kids Next Door with her food army, and the second time she is defeated because of the KND hamsters.
- The SLamwitch appears to have bones inside of its body, despite being a sandwich.
Series continuity[]
- The Age Ray Numbuh 2 invented in Operation: K.I.S.S. makes an appearance near the end of this episode. This time it served the same function as intended - giving his hamsters super size/strength.
- Gramma Stuffum's Food Army last appeared in their debut episode, Operation: N.O.-P.O.W.U.H..
- This is the second time Numbuh 1, Numbuh 2 and Numbuh 5 are inside of someone's stomach. They were inside of Numbuh 4's stomach back in Operation: S.P.R.O.U.T..
Cultural references[]
- The Slamwitch monster being attacked by airplanes and its behavior is likely taken from King Kong.
- Joaquin is reading a comic about a Superman-like hamster.
Goofs[]
- As Sector V are walking down the hallway towards the cafeteria, the walls are mirrored in the floor, but the kids are not.
- Numbuh 2 and Numbuh 5 are walking next to each other, but are on opposite ends when the group reaches the cafeteria.
- The lunch trays are stacked differently when Numbuh 1 grabs one from when they entered the cafeteria.
- The neighborhood around Sector V's treehouse looks different than usual.
- Gramma Stuffum is still wearing her witch hat after falling off of the Slamwitch, but the hat is missing after she gets up.
- Despite going all the way to the Sector V treehouse, they are suddenly in front of the school again.
- Joaquin is suddenly a lot smaller at the end, going from the size of the Slamwitch to just taller than Sector V.
- The damage to the school is not the same from when the Slamwitch destroyed it, to when Sector V returns to it at the end.
- Gramma Stuffum is lying alone on the ground in front of the school, but Liver and Onions are suddenly sitting next to her in the next shot.
