Information[]
Summary[]
A lost baby skunk interferes with a mission to rescue brainwashed campers.
Plot[]
The story begins when Sector V lands at a strange camp supposedly run by evil adults, and while each operative is off on their designated duties, Numbuh 4 went into a bush and hid behind a tree to help Numbuh 5, who saw some campers making billfolds and lanyards. She figured that there was nothing wrong with the campers but Numbuh 1 told her to not be fooled by what they are doing because the camp was ran by an insidious counselor, and Numbuhs 2 and 3 are working together--while Numbuh 2's on lookout duty and he saw the campers doing exactly what Numbuh 5 had seen, and while Numbuh 3's exploring and picking flowers and while she was picking flowers, Numbuh 3 heard and discovers something in the bushes and when she went to see what it is, Kuki gasped with delightfulness. She wanted Numbuh 2 to come look. He didn’t want to since he had to focus on what was going on at the camp but Numbuh 3 begged and pleaded and he went anyway much to Kuki’s delight. After getting Numbuh 2 to come see it, what Numbuh 3 discovered seems to be a baby animal that was separated from its parents and the baby started to cry. As Numbuh 3 was playing with the baby, Numbuh 2 called out to someone if they lost a baby, but there was no one around and nobody replied back. As Numbuh 1 told Numbuh 2 and Numbuh 3 to come back to Headquarters, they decided to adopt the baby as his parents until his real ones came. So Hogarth and Kuki became a temporary married couple and got “temporarily” married and they temporarily fell in love with each other.
Back at the treehouse, while Numbuhs 1, 4, and 5 are discussing about what to do about the mission, Numbuh 1 hoped that Numbuh 2’s report about the counselor will prove itself worthy but when Numbuh 5 and Numbuh 4 looked around, Numbuh 2 and Numbuh 3 were nowhere to be seen. Numbuh 1 called out to them on the microphone and said, “Hello? Numbuh 2 and Numbuh 3? Perhaps you’d like to join the debriefing? We’re waiting,” but Numbuh 2 ran to Numbuh 1 to be quiet and not wake “Bradley” but it was too late. Bradley woke up. Numbuh 3 arrived with Bradley. Numbuhs 2 and 3 reveal the baby animal they found--the animal turns out to be a skunk that Numbuh 3 named Bradley. Numbuh 3 explains to the others that when they landed their ship, it must've knocked Bradley and his family out of their den, ultimately separating him from his parents. So Hoagie and Kuki, who proudly announced, “We’re his new parents,” together, have decided to act as Bradley's temporary parents until they can find his real family.
However, Nigel gets angry and says that the KND have to remember that they have a mission: an adult is running an evil camp, Camp Lemmeouttahere (a pun on. "Let me out of here!!!") and is brainwashing kids to make billfolds and lanyards at incredibly low prices. But Numbuh 2 and Numbuh 3 had to take care of Bradley since taking care of babies is a big responsibility other than going on a mission. Numbuh 1 told Numbuh 4 to do something about it but Wally said that Bradley looked cute and Bradley smiled at Numbuh 4. And Numbuh 2 hired Numbuh 5, who laughed at Numbuh 4 for being sprayed by Bradley, to be Bradley’s godmother and Numbuh 4 to be Bradley’s godfather. Numbuh 1 announced the mission had to be done tonight.
The KND prepare for the mission, however, each of the operatives keeps getting distracted by taking care of Bradley. Numbuh 4, for example, made a baby module, Numbuh 2 feeds Bradley while at the same time he puts missiles in the C.O.O.L.B.U.S. until he accidentally puts baby food in the C.O.O.L.B.U.S. and gives Bradley a missile and Numbuhs 3 and 5 switch from behind looking at complicated 2x4 tech blueprints (while Numbuh 1 is looking) and reading a storybook to Bradley (when Numbuh 1's elsewhere).
While going into the C.O.O.L.B.U.S., Numbuh 1 got furious that Numbuh 2 and Numbuh 3 were bringing Bradley along as they put him in a baby seat. Numbuh 3, including Numbuh 1, 2, 4, and 5, enjoy going on missions and battling adult tyranny, said that she and Numbuh 2 had to take care of Bradley. Before taking off, Numbuh 2 had to get Bradley’s bottle while chatting to himself about what Numbuh 3 said. And when Numbuh 1 blurted out, “Can we get a move on?!,” it scared poor Bradley.
The KND finally head off to Camp Lemmeouttahere. At the camp, the counselor was making the campers build wallets. Meanwhile in the C.O.O.L.B.U.S., Nigel gets annoyed with Hoagie feeding Bradley with a baby bottle of milk and while driving at the same time. Numbuh 1 got so mad at Numbuh 2, he tried to force him out of the chair as Nigel smacks the bottle and insults Bradley by calling him stupid. Kuki scolds Nigel for it before Bradley cries and sprays the stink, making everyone panic and accidentally crashes in front of the campers.
When the KND emerges from the wreckage, the campers were surprised and puzzled and Nigel explains to the them about their counselor, who intends to brainwash them like all his other campers. The evil camp counselor, whose name revealed is Chester, orders his brainwashed campers to attack the KND where they've advanced at them while Nigel and Kuki argues about Bradley again before he gets cornered as the campers are about to attack them, scaring Bradley that he sprays them at first. To Nigel, Hogarth, Kuki, Wally, and Abby’s surprise, Bradley’s spray made the campers not brainwashed anymore. Sector V was impressed. However, Chester snatches Bradley from Kuki and orders his campers to attack the KND again and Sector V got tangled and tied up. They got Hogarth and Kuki, then Wally, then Nigel, and Abby. Afterwards, the KND all end up being captured by the brainwashed campers. Kuki angrily tells Chester to stop scaring Bradley, but he'll plan to drop him into the lake. Unfortunately, Chester makes the biggest mistake of picking up Bradley by the tail and scaring him constantly, the abnormally large mother and father skunk appears from the bushes while the KND exclaim them as, "Bradley's Parents!" after they heard Bradley's loud cry from the distance.
Bradley's real parents are furious at Chester for endangering their son, attacks the scared Chester and his brainwashed campers and angrily spray everyone in sight, which it revealed that skunk spray neutralizes whatever Chester used to brainwash the campers, releasing the campers from Chester's control as they express their disgust to the smell. Chester complains about his failure of his plans and blames Bradley for foiling it before Bradley sprays stink at his face and runs off to rejoice with KND who cheers at him as Chester starts crying in defeat while Bradley's parents continues to spray at campers.
In the morning, Nigel apologizes for his attitude and proudly announces Bradley as "Honorary Kids Next Door operative, Numbuh 6." Nigel, who became Bradley’s friend and babysitter, admits Bradley's kind of cute until the little skunk sprays him in the face. It may have hard to say, “goodbye,” to Bradley but Numbuh 1 would always be Bradley’s babysitter and friend, Numbuh 2 and Numbuh 3 would always be Bradley’s temporary parents, and Numbuh 4 and Numbuh 5 would always be Bradley’s godparents no matter what.
