– Numbuh 10
Numbuh 10 is the maternal cousin of Numbuh 1, as her father is his mother's long-lost brother. She is the leader of Sector L and is a news anchorwoman for the KND News Network. She's widely considered the prettiest female operative in the KND.
Biography
She first appeared in "Operation: C.O.U.C.H.", where she is featured as the anchorwoman for the KND Nightly News. After her colleague made a bad joke about the Common Cold, she introduced the list of kids turning 13 that day. It was implied that Numbuh 2 might have a crush on her.
In "Operation: H.O.L.I.D.A.Y.", she attended the Kids Next Door Senior Command Super Relaxing Retreat and Ice Cream Social, along with every other sector leader. It is there when she learns that she and Nigel were cousins (due to Numbuh 10's dad and Numbuh 1's mom being siblings). Numbuh 10 also befriends Lizzie after she flew to Jamaica because of a misunderstanding (i.e., Lizzie believed that Nigel was cheating on her with Numbuh10). They end up talking about a number of embarrassing facts about Numbuh 1, much to his chagrin.
She is also seen in the audience in Operation: I.T., cheering on the newly appointed supreme leader Father, after he pledged to help them eradicate broccoli. She sat next to Numbuh 16, and close to Numbuh 83, Numbuh 84, Numbuh 168, and Numbuh 888.
In Operation: T.R.E.A.T.Y., she was present on the KND Gihugeacarrier for the signing of the Kid-Teen Treaty. When the teens betrayed the kids and started playing incredibly loud music, all of the KND operatives present was immobilized, including Numbuh 10. After Numbuh 1 and Chad Dickson stopped stopped the loud music, Numbuh 10 presumably joined in the fight against the teens until the Gihugeacarrier blew up.
Appearance
Numbuh 10 has emerald-green eyes and orange hair, tied in a ponytail with a light green scrunchie. On the right side of her face, she has a beauty mark.
She usually wears a green sweater vest over a white shirt, a blue skirt, black and white shoes and green earrings. In Operation: H.O.L.I.D.A.Y., she wears a red top, a blue sarong with white flower designs, white flip flops with red straps, and white pearl earrings.
Trivia
- One of the proposed ideas for KND stories for Season 6 and the Comics was a story where Numbuh 10 was hated by her sector, but this was never used.[1]
- Numbuh 10, along with Numbuh 168 and Numbuh 888, were designed by Tom Mackey Evans.
- Numbuh 10's design was based off an early design of Lizzie which CN felt was too "mean and unlikeable"; He and Mr. Warburton would redesign Lizzie (in her final design) to appear more friendly.
- Numbuh 10's number is likely a play on the number 10's use in slang; on a scale from 0 to 10, a "10" would be exceptional, especially in reference to someone's looks.
