Muffy Jenkins is a schoolgirl in the fourth grade at Gallagher Elementary, whose name is mentioned in several episodes as an in-joke and running gag.

History[]

Muffy is first mentioned in Operation: P.I.N.K.E.Y.E.; when Numbuh 2 is shot in the shoulder with a water balloon, he describes the feeling to be like having Muffy as a lab partner.

She physically appears in Operation: C.L.O.W.N., where she speaks to Numbuh 2 asking about the time. Initially, she was polite but after he made a terrible joke, she pretended to be amused but quietly insulted him for his corny joke and left.

She's then mentioned in Operation: P.R.E.S.I.D.E.N.T. as the candidate Numbuh 1 voted for in the school elections, simply because he considered it a popularity competition, much to President Jimmy's displeasure.

She is mentioned in Operation: C.A.K.E.D.-F.O.U.R. racing in the tube-a-thon, nearly coming in first place briefly in the final then fell back.

She is also mentioned in Operation: E.L.E.C.T.I.O.N.S., where Wilson Woodrow was framed for tying her shoelaces by the DCFDTL and sent to detention for life.

Muffy's arrest was ordered by Joe Balooka when Oliver "predicted" that she would be chewing gum during class next Tuesday. The Hall Squad then put her in Permanent Detention (Operation: P.R.E.-C.R.I.M.E.), though she was presumably released after Crayon Boy revealed himself to be a fake.

After it was discovered to exist a source of salad oil underneath Gallagher Elementary, Principal Sauerbraten put all the school children to work during every recess. At the start of each recess, the students of each grade is read from a list and assigned duties, with Muffy being first on the fourth grade list (Operation: R.E.C.E.S.S.).

She appears in Operation: M.E.S.S.A.G.E. (and Operation: N.O.T.E.) where Eggbert Eggleston, the fourth grade president, has Numbuh 2 deliver to her a note without reading it. The note is revealed to say "Muffy- The splinter cell is REAL. pres.Eggleston".

Trivia[]

  • Though she is mentioned several times, only her hands are shown on screen, matching Runt's.
    • This does not include any appearances of the incidental her comic design was based on, who appeared in several episodes staring from Season 2.
  • Her design in the comics is identical to an incidental from the show, who most notably was part of the Rainbow Monkey Cult, albeit with much different colors. Said incidental is never explicitly stated to be Muffy Jenkins in the show.
