Mrs. Goodwall is an old woman in her 80s who runs a "children's zoo" where children are held captive and displayed like animals. She claims that kids are too wild to live in houses, and that with her zoo, adults (who she says are "fascinated by children") will be able to observe (and torment) them without difficulty. The "exhibits" in her zoo display various stereotypical archtypes of children, such as the "nerd enclosure", the "gossip cage" and the "ugly children display". The most popular attraction of the zoo, however, is the schoolyard bully, who is fed and literally eats other kids for lunch.
History[]
In Operation: Z.O.O., Mrs. Goodwall captures the members of Sector V and displays them in the "obnoxious brats" exhibit, planning to feed them to the cannibal bully. The KND's cage happens to be immediately across the aisle from the "delightfully charming children exhibit", which contains the Delightful Children From Down The Lane. After trying and failing to escape and going into a panic, the KND agree to work together with the DCFDTL to escape their cages. After breaking free, the KND begin to free all the other children in the zoo. After they do so, Mrs. Goodwall returns with a tranquilizer gun to stop them, having been tipped off to their activities by the Delightful Children. As she is about to shoot Numbuh 1 and Numbuh 5 and feed them to the bully, the two start deceiving Mrs. Goodwall that they can be very polite by using such kind words, allowing them to trick her into stepping into the path of the hoard of kids led by Numbuh 3 and is trampled. At the end of the episode, Mrs. Goodwall is thrown into the bully exhibit and seen running from the bully in his pit.
In Operation: Z.E.R.O., Mrs. Goodwall turned into Senior Citi-zombies. They returned to normal after Grandfather's defeat.
Mrs. Goodwall has since been used by animators as a background character in many episodes, often being seen with other adult villains.
Trivia[]
- Mrs. Goodwall resembles an ox, with horn-shaped hair and a nose and tail similar to an ox's.
- It's possible she is based on British zoologist, Jane Goodall.
