The KND Splinter Cell was supposedly a traitorous shadow organization within the Kids Next Door whose intentions is to terminate all adults and teenagers on Earth, whether they are good or evil. This violates an important ideology of the Kids Next Door, who are only against tyrannical adults and teenagers, not targeting adults and teenagers in general. The Splinter Cell's true nature was unknown to Supreme Leader Numbuh 362, and most KND operatives are unaware of the rumors.
History[]
The KND Splinter Cell was allegedly created after the events of Operation: Z.E.R.O., whereas Father used Numbuh Zero's Recommissioning Module (which Numbuh 86 had previously used in Operation: E.N.D.) to restore Grandfather's memories in an attempt to destroy the KND. The Splinter Cell was first mentioned in writing during Operation: M.E.S.S.A.G.E., in a note that read, "The Splinter Cell is real." Throughout Season 6, the "Splinter Cell" is seen monitoring and testing Numbuh 1, intending to ensure that his emotional links were severed, and that his loyalty to the KND was unquestionable, beginning in Operation: W.H.I.T.E.H.O.U.S.E., when Numbuhs 74.239 and Infinity tested him in a simulation they created using Chester's Happy Headband.
In Operation: G.I.R.L.F.R.I.E.N.D., their actions caused Nigel's long-time girlfriend, Lizzie Devine, to break up with him.
In Operation: I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S., the Splinter Cell is revealed to be a cover for the Galactic KND. The purpose of using the Splinter Cell to cover up the GKND's tracks is for the good of the KND as a whole, because according to Numbuh 74.239, the organization isn't ready to know about the GKND just yet. They revealed that they were testing Numbuh 1 to determine if he was fit to join them as Earth's representative among the GKND. Numbuhs Infinity, 71.562, 74.239, 275, and 274 are known to be associated with the Splinter Cell. Not much else is known about them or the GKND, but it is presumed that they may have ulterior motives, according to the leaked teaser for Galactic: Kids Next Door.
The KND Splinter Cell was also mentioned in Operation: M.E.S.S.A.G.E., Operation: A.M.I.S.H., and Operation: T.R.E.A.T.Y.
