Chickenpox, sometimes shorted to "Pox", is a disease formerly weaponized by the Teen Ninjas to fight the Kids Next Door. After being exposed to a contagious chicken, the victim would sprout tiny chicken heads on their face after getting poxed. Chickenpox was known to last for three weeks, according to Cree Lincoln. The source of the disease was Chickenpox Island, until it was destroyed by Numbuh 5 and Maurice.
History[]
The Teen Ninjas discovered at some point the Chickenpox Island, home to chickens with a contagious disease called Chickenpox. Physically touching one of these chickens would be enough to catch the disease, and the teens knew how they would use it. They created the Chickenpox Guns loaded with chicken eggs, to infect kids with the virus. This went on to be one of their strongest weapons. Numbuh 9 of Sector V set a trap for a trio of Teen Ninjas in order to acquire one of their weapons to study and find the source of this disease. After getting his hands on a chickenpox gun he vowed to never stop until he located and destroyed the source of Chickenpox.
Three years passed without success, and Numbuh 9 declared his mission a failure due to his decommissioning only being minutes away on his thirteenth birthday. After his decommissioning, he was followed by Numbuh 5 who witnessed the Teen Ninjas kidnap Maurice and, in her attempt to stop them, was hit by her sister's Chickenpox Gun. Numbuh 5 managed to track down Chickenpox Island while sick with Chickenpox herself and learned of the teens' plan to have all the neighbourhood kids smitten with the disease by using their new Chickenpox Cannon. Their plan was thwarted by Maurice, who secretly worked as an undercover teenage operative for the Kids Next Door, and the chickenpox cannon was instead aimed at McClintock High School where it hit all the neighbourhood teenagers. Together, Numbuh 5 and Maurice blew up the island and destroyed the teens supply of chickenpox (Operation: M.A.U.R.I.C.E.).
In response to the teens creation of Chickenpox, the scientists at the Kids Next Door Deep Sea Science Lab created the Unpoppable Zit and tried it out on Cree Lincoln on her prom night (Operation: V.I.R.U.S.).
