The Cheese Mines are mines located inside the mountain on which the Cheese Temple is situated. It collapsed when Numbuh 2 and Numbuh 4 tried to escape.

History

Numbuh 2 and Numbuh 4 were brought before Cheese Shogun Roquefort when they were found wanting to eat a wheel of cheese. As punishment, they were sentenced to work in the cheese mines. While grating the cheese walls, they came up with a plan to escape and rescue the others held prisoner there as well. Their escape attempt initially seemed to have failed, but then the mines collapsed and the Cheese Ninjas ran away. Without their captors present, they rescued all the prisoners before Numbuh 2 went to challenge the cheese shogun (Operation: T.H.E.-S.H.O.G.U.N.).
