Anna Worthington was the secretary to Gallagher Elementary's Fourth Grade Class President James "Jimmy" Nixon McGarfield, and later his girlfriend. She is also the niece of The Common Cold, and occasionally asks him for special favors.

Appearance

Anna is a slim girl with blonde hair tied in a ponytail. She wears rectangular glasses, a magenta neckerchief, a pink blouse, a brown belt, a magenta skirt and penny loafers. A pencil is often tucked behind her ear and she carries a clipboard.

Personality

Because of her love for him, Anna is utterly devoted to Jimmy and works diligently as his assistant. Though she herself is not known to perform villainous acts directly, she definitely has a sneaky side and will scheme behind the scenes whether for her own ends or those of others. She is shown to have a bit of a temper as she almost got into an argument with Sector V when they denied her permission to come along with Jimmy on School Bus One.

History

Anna first appears in Operation: P.R.E.S.I.D.E.N.T. where she is introduced as fourth grade president Jimmy's trusted advisor who has been working for him for well over a semester. She is constantly at his side with her clipboard at the ready to jot down notes, and is also seen whispering information to him as reporters ask questions in the school hallway. Jimmy plans to go to City Hall where he will meet with officials to recommend shorter school days and mandatory pizza lunches. As there are those who would try to stop him, he is to be protected by Sector V of the Kids Next Door during his trip. Anna expects to accompany Jimmy on School Bus One but Sector V stops her as they will not allow civilians on board. She is outraged but Jimmy tells her not to make a scene and so reluctantly she stays behind. As it turns out, Anna is working with the Delightful Children From Down The Lane and calls them on a communicator to let them know she was blocked from School Bus One. They say it doesn't matter because they have plans of their own. Although Sector V do get Jimmy to City Hall safely, Father seemingly brainwashes him into supporting his ideas for making school miserable for kids.

Because Jimmy had apparently not yet turned evil while Anna acted as a spy for the Delightful Children, it would appear she was working against him at first. Ultimately her loyalty and feelings for him would become genuine, perhaps as a result of his switch to villainy. In Operation: S.N.O.W.I.N.G. Jimmy has abused his power as fourth grade president to become the tyrannical overlord of Gallagher Elementary which he now rules with an iron fist. Anna enthusiastically supports his plan to force kids to attend a school assembly on a snow day. In preparation, Jimmy asks Anna to have her uncle The Common Cold make Numbuh 1 ill. She doesn't understand that the purpose of this is to get Numbuh 1 out of the way so Jimmy can pursue a romantic relationship with his girlfriend Lizzie Devine, who he wants to crown his queen during the assembly. Harboring a crush on Jimmy and misinterpreting his flirtatious behavior towards her, Anna believes that she will be his queen. When she finds out differently, Anna is heartbroken and decides to help the KND defeat Jimmy. She releases Numbuhs 2 to 5 from their shackles and borrows Numbuh 5's communicator to get in touch with Numbuh 1 and aid him in entering the heavily guarded school. Ultimately Jimmy is defeated and arrested by the Kids Next Door. Despite helping the KND, Anna is also arrested, either due to being Jimmy's accomplice or possibly by her own request to remain with him. She reveals to Jimmy that she sabotaged his plans out of jealousy because she loves him. Jimmy is touched and returns her feelings. The two are then taken to the KND Arctic Prison together on the S.P.R.A.Y.S.H.I.P. by the Numbuh 44 twins.

Wilson Woodrow takes Anna's place as the fourth grade president's secretary after Eggbert Eggleston is elected the new president in Operation: E.L.E.C.T.I.O.N.S..
